We Love Ellen.

Here at Teen Shine! In our time of blogging, we’ve dedicated many of our articles to Ellen DeGeneres, why?

Because Ellen is such a giving, kind and helpful person. She’s inspirational and uplifting! If you don’t know who she is, she’s like Oprah with less quotes, though.

We just wanted to say thanks to the show for being great and inspiring over the past eleven seasons. WarnerBros have made it better than ever. During Christmas people feel sad knowing they’ll get things for Christmas, not much despite the age. Ellen does 12 days Of Giveaways and sends most people back to tomorrow’s taping and gives the worlds most expensive gifts! We think, anyway.

Thanks for reading! that’s why we love Ellen.

1. The Amanda Show – Dancing Lobsters

Did YOU ever watch the Amanda show? Classical, huh. Sad to see @AmandaBynes now but gosh the memories never fade. Whilst playing “Judge Trudy” she sent in the dancing lobsters. This was classical, let’s watch. youtu.be/qfpg-YoQj60

2. Hannah Montana (And Jackson) – I Got Nerve

If you saw Hannah Montana as a kid, you’ll remember this memorable moment, let’s have a lil’ lookback! Jackson was so funny. Inspiration to us all i guess. youtu.be/HfN-_j4JU8Y

3. Suite Life (SLOZAC) – London’s Driving Test

Suite life of Zack and Cody was the bomb, did you ever watch London Tipton? She’s so funny. This was her and Mr. Moseby’s driving test. Enjoy. youtu.be/V2Sqx51sVi8

“Dumb Starbucks” Store Shutdown

So, the store “Dumb Starbucks” has shutdown as Nathan Fielder comes forward as the store’s owner. The store attracted too much attention, in our opinion the first day it opened! It was a huge faux, real store, ofcourse. The store was shut down on Monday but Fielder’s planning to make a second in Brooklyn!

The LA Health Department said the Art Parody never got a health permit whilst they were selling coffee. They were serving Dumb Esspressos, Lattes, Mochas. You name it! Anything DumbCoffee. It’s a publicity stunt, people! It wouldn’t suprise you, though.

RumourFix Said: “Comedy Central’s Nathan Fielder, came forward saying on YouTube, “By adding the  word ‘Dumb’ we are legally allowed to use the coveted Starbucks name and logo  because we’ve fulfilled the minimum requirements to be considered a parody by  U.S. law.”

What do you have to say about it personally? Have you’re say in the comment section. Best ones will get featured on our twitter, @teenshineus. Make sure you’re twitter following us and the blog! Enjoy, Best Mason @ Teen Shine!

“Dumb Starbucks” In LA.

Welcome to Teen Shine! We’ve got news for you! A Starbucks parody has opened next to American coffee giants, Starbucks in Los Angeles, California. The store have said on it’s FAQ that it’s perfectly LEGAL because of “parody laws.” Like Weird Al Yalnovic has used “Eat It” instead of “Beat It” when joking with Michael Jackson’s song title.

The Starbucks Company are looking into this and don’t like the fact they’re being mocked and called dumb. Everything on Dumb Starbucks Menu has the word “dumb” infront of everything, Dumb Ice Tea, Frappuccino, Latte and more. We tried explaining this the best we can but here’s about it in Some of Daily Mail’s words. “People have been lining up for  Dumb Coffee for up to an hour just to get their hands on a cup — part novelty,  part collector’s item.”

Sorry, that’s all the time we have for now…

My Top Favourite Songs Of Late 2013 & 2014

Hey there, Teen Shine readers. Today i thought that i’d share with you my favourite songs, i like anything pop, loud, new or catchy. Here are my “favourite” songs in no random order.

  1. Happy – Pharrell. This song is great to cheer you up if you need calming down, you miss someone or something and just need putting in a good mood again.
  2. Can You Do This? – Aloe Blacc. This song is so catchy! I originally heard it on the Ellen DeGeneres’ Beats Music commercial which was released early January. (The BeatsMusic app is only available to AT&T carrier holders within the US area, but will be worldwide very soon.)
  3. Rill Rill – Sleigh Bells. After Apple made this a hit tune back in 2013 this songs got a greater amount of hits than usual.
  4. Applause – Lady Gaga. – Gaga’s released a hell lot of songs over the years, we seriously find this song awesome to rave/dance to when you’re very energetic. We can see why this song is in the charts! Well done for creating such a catchy tune, Lady Gaga. You deserve a Applause!
  5.  Just Hold On We’re Going Home. – Drake. Now, i like this song if me and my friends are travelling in a long car journey together, if they say “Mason, when are we going home?” I’ll say well listen to this. Get it, funny right?

Okay, so i’ve got to go have lunch now. I’ll blog later soon! Watch out and keep your eyes peeled for Vaughan’s blog post later!

Jelly Review

Jelly is tasty. No, I mean Jelly is an online application for Smartphones, kind of like how Yahoo Answers and Wiki Answers works. Jelly was created by Biz Stone. He’s a co-founder of Twitter, Vine and Jelly.

The service was based on January, 7th 2014. It has been overflowing with popularity over the US, causing the app to get into the United States App Store Charts, a few weeks back. It’s been gaining more and more questions day by day, and we can see this all paying off and hopefully it will soon be even bigger than Yahoo Answers.

Biz and his friend were on a walk and talk, one day Biz asked how he could make a search engine that could fit the modern day technology’s needs. They thought of something called Jelly and had the idea during April, 2013. It let you take a photo, share one from your camera roll or let you find one of images. Users are so eager to help each other.

Watch the video of how the idea came about below.
